Auction flex does check the validity of each credit card that is given on file. We do this to simply secure the items that are in our auction. If your credit card information is being declined, please double check that all information given is correct. If it’s correct and still declining, you may need to check with your credit card company. The card must be a valid number with a valid expiration date.

Occasionally, we do run specialty items (car, boat, smoker, etc..) that will have a reserve on it. If the item does not meet the reserve, it again will not sell, unless the consignor chooses to go with the highest bid, this though is not a decision that is made by AuctionsLI or any of its employees.
All bids are binding and cannot be canceled or retracted. If there is an error or malfunction in the system and you must edit a bid, you must contact our office via email at Auctionsliny@gmail.com
We attempt to describe all these items to try to give you a visual of the item you are bidding on, we describe them to the best of our ability. If you have questions or are NOT SURE about the condition of or anything pertaining to an item in our auction, preview is highly encouraged. If you choose to bid without previewing, you are accepting the item as is.
Shipping costs depend on your location, how many items you won, weight, and insurance. We don't have huge shipping write ups. Allow 48 to 72 hours for shipping invoice. The same card on file will be charged for shipping unless you make other arrangements. Shipping is done in house at the most affordable rate possible. Certain auctions are pickup only.
– At the close of the auction you will be emailed an invoice through Currency Pay. The card on file will be charged at end of auction unless other arrangements have been made. Please note that if shipping is necessary, the applicable charge will be processed on file once the shipping invoice has been generated. A copy of both the shipping invoice and the winning invoice will be sent to you via email for your reference. Please pay this online prior if it is a pickup.
– We do not take cash or checks.
Pickup days are typically the day after the sale ends. Please refer to your invoice for the date, time and location of pickup. Pickup times are firm. Storage is not available, nor are we able to relocate any items to other sale locations. Please read each auction individually as some are shipping or pickup only.
Yes! We charge everyone a buyers premium of 20%. Credit card fee of 3.3% is included.
We will gladly take off your tax. At time of pickup, we will have you complete a tax exempt form. The form must have your tax number, be signed and dated. These do expire every year, so you may be asked to complete another to be sure our records are always up to date. Once you complete the form, your invoice should always show $0.00 for the tax amount. If it does not, we do not have all your accurate info. We DO NOT need a copy of your certificate. If it is a Online & Shipping Only auction, please email us prior to the end of auction close.
All items that do not get a bid will be donated. We collaborate with local charities to ensure that leftover items are repurposed.

The seller's commission is the fee the auction company charges the seller for its services. Typically, this fee is a percentage of the sale price. The buyer's premium, on the other hand, is an additional fee added to the auction price to determine the final contract price. This premium can be either a percentage of the auction price or a flat fee. At closing, an amount equal to the buyer's premium is paid to the auction company for its services. Auction fees are usually based on the amount and quality of services provided.
